March 2024 - Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, has announced it is open for bookings ahead of its spring opening.

Set to welcome guests from May 2024, Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, forms part of The Red Sea project, one of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s luxury regenerative tourism destinations on the west coast of the country. Nujuma will be the first property from the brand in the Middle East and will join a rare portfolio of just six exclusive estates worldwide.

The Red Sea is surrounded by the world's fourth-largest barrier reef system and spans over 28,000 square kilometres with an archipelago of more than 90 untouched islands, dormant volcanos, sweeping desert dunes, mountain canyons and historical cultural sites. Nujuma will offer an unchartered escape to the extraordinary: a private and transformative travel experience that is centred around human connection and will bring unique elements of the local culture, heritage and environment. Guests can expect a highly personalised leisure experience that blends intuitive and heartfelt service with stunning natural beauty and indigenous design.

Set amid the soft white sand or perched above the azure sea, one-to-three-bedroom villas mirror their surroundings with shell-inspired structures and interiors finished with found objects, local art and colours, textures and materials that borrow from nature. Designed to offer both elevated privacy and direct access to the outdoors, each of the 63 villas features panoramic windows, open living space, a sea-view pool and a telescope to discover Saudi Arabia’s enchanting star-filled sky.
